The Mythical VoyageA Poem by ColeA poem about two lovers on the open sea.A mythical voyage to sail the seven seas On a vessel large enough for mans own dreams By day to reign over the winds and currents Rocking by nights waves and blanketed by stars With a destination of the travellers own decree. Occasionally battered by natures might But the soft night serene to be worth the fight Upon a vessel crafted by man’s own hand With hard grained wood laced with connections A voyage of anointment and discovery That which only the travelers alone can seem to see Breeching the realization of their own beings Travelers far and wide all able to crew for this voyage Only two befitted for the voyage’s means To change the sails and navigate the open seas Exploring what destiny has in store for their adventure By night to play the beat and listen to the music of when their souls meet Soon to land on what seems to be another world With trees made of dreams and sands of fierce passion Winds of desire and enlightened by discovery The two lovers arrived at their final destination Together as one from their mystical voyage across the seas Upon a vessel made of dreams © 2013 Cole |
