A Poem by Alessander

His wit is like a whip
      It slices the air
      It scars backs
      Makes onlookers wince
      Before the soundbarrier even breaks

                                CRAACKKK

     Hss tongue forks
     Women squirm
     Pleading for drugs or dick
     In polite company,
They shun him at mimosas brunches
Glance down on their cells - sheepishly
     As their GFs pretend
Their audi hubbys don't get ridden
     @ asian massage parlors

     This is the dark silhouette
     Behind every FB vacation
     Behind every IG kiss
     The part your aunts hide
     Like some 1970s game show
Where everyone dresses up like a clown
Jumping up and down the aisle
     Expecting you to accept
     Everyone wins

Everyone wins. What a wonderful concept but I suppose the great prize of life is the entering of it. What we each do with the gift, however, may greatly vary. You present a stark and slightly humorous observation to the mix here. It reminded me a bit of Joni Mitchell's "People's Parties". I enjoyed the read. F.
