empty chairs

empty chairs

A Poem by Aleksa

there is sadness
in empty chairs
it is silent. unspoken.
and painful.

it's like all of the missing and broken love of the world
decided to occupy it
none of the empty seat
was ever talking of happiness.

Empty chairs at empty tables. You have an interesting viewpoint. Maybe our views on things stem from sadness in our childhoods? Something to think about.

I always find it really interesting how each individual views different things. i like your perspective because the simplicity of a chair just became complex. Nice work.

One joy in empty seats is that they can be filled. There is a place for you to sit and room for you to invite another friend to sit with you.
