Same sun, different loveA Poem by The writerI am watching the sunrise. Oh sun, rise! Your beauty goes beyond the limits of my own words. As yesterday was a new day, The sun is the same. But today is a new day, And my love for her is not the same. My blood has become stone. While in the past she was a thief, the one who my heart stole, in the present, she is in grief. As I no longer love her. My heart is no longer hers. I murder that love, by turning the blood into stone. Oh sun, rise! Warm the world with your rays. As I have been wormed with her lying words. And as time goes your rise, from the night. From these ashes, I will rise, to claim my honor as a lonely knight.
