Forlorness

Forlorness

A Poem by The writer

Forlorness

Why do I feel lonely,
Is there a happy world?
Am I living in a lie?
I just feel alone.

They promised peace,
but they want wars.
They promised laughs,
but I cry on my knees.

I cry in my sheets,
alone, alone, alone,
waiting for the pain to cease,
waiting to rest in peace.

I feel burnout
I just want to get out,
out frome the lonelyness,
out of this forlornness.

I think your words so eloquently speak for a generation my friend. These past couple of years will be remembered as the plague years. Because not only has it brought mass death but also hatred as well. Thank you for sharing your poem with us.
