A Poem by Fades
"

This was written in response to a friend who said I must be in love to write a poem on love. So I took up the challenge and went down memory lane for all I have loved and still love, for all my friends, and for you, the one who challenged my muse. Hmm

Elements

Fair is the morning Dawn,
The first fresh fragrance of day,
But fairer still is your smile,
Your smile that makes my world topsy-turvy,
Bright it is and the freshest thing I will ever know.

Warm is the Afternoon,
When the hustle and bustle is everyone,
But warmer still is your sweet hug,
Your hug that I lost myself into,
Making me amnesiac about all but you.

Red is the evening dusk,
When birds return and twilight beckons,
But fiery is your passion,
Your passion for all things you care.
The passion is your slightest touches.
Your slightest touches which enthralls beckoned.

Strong is the earth’s gravity,
Holding us together,
But not strong enough to contain my heart,
My heart torn apart
By the weight of a drop of your sad tear.

Comforts the Jungle brings,
With its abundant vitality and songs,
Yet comforting more is your breath,
Your breath you breathe unto me
About life and promise of Future.

Bright are the stars,
That seduces all upon the night,
But brighter still are your eyes,
Your eyes that express,
The brightest stars that God plucked for you,
For you when you were born.

Swift is the wind that blows,
That blows unto us caressing,
But swifter still your slight touch,
Your slight touch that blows me off my feet.
Your slight touch that hurts yet makes me euphoric most.

Wise are the creations of God,
Created for a purpose eternal
Wiser than this head of mine,
This head of mine which follows my heart,
This heart which follows your precious heart eternal.

Silent is the whispers of the night,
When nature and men rest,
But silent still is this heart,
This heart that carries you within,
This heart that loves you so much...
And yet silent remains this heart that rest.

Sweet memories indeed... Yes you do have to be inlove I do believe to write of love. And when as a reader of a persons love.. if love is not there it doent jump from the words to our own hearts. But it's plain to see you still love, because it jumps not sure if that is from the moment your fingers tap the thoughts and feelings or if it's perhaps the feeling themselves as you pen away. But its something, something science has not yet ripped to threads.. Again a very beautiful write, one in which your loves know in that moment if they were to read your words why they are your loves... Well done my friend.
