Gone

I see you through veils of my eyes
Sad are the tears flowing from your eyes
I can feel the tender love in your heart
For now we are to be apart
As I lie still to rest in substance
A burst of love within my essence.
I want you to know I love you so
And no one I know loves you more.

(Earlier)
As I lain to rest
I dreamt a dream of unrest
An Angel and a Devil came to me
We are the keepers of ye
The Angel said,
“Your time on earth is sufficed”
The Devil said,
“Your life has been baptized”
And hence they took me by my hands
And lifted me, now a shade
To a place that’s serene and silent.
Where I now await judgment.

(Earlier)
As we had dinner together
I never knew it would be our last together,
You looked so-so beautiful in that red dress
And the light, seduced by your long tresses
I should have said so many things
I should have done so many things
But like always,
I ate silently,
And as we danced in ways,
I thanked God softly.
Wished I kissed you then
And caressed you more often.
But for me the bell has chimed
And now I cry for all the times
That I will never hold you near
And now my life will be bare

My dream I dreamt - not a dream

Now as I await my final judgment
I think of all things I wish to mend.
To love, to toil, to live
To fulfill dreams I believed
Oh! Please, a few more years, I pray
Tis too early to go away
Yet Death waits for none
And my life has moved on
So much to achieve, so much to say
Will I get a chance? Nay.

All my life, I was ready to meet my maker
I had always been a taker.
But to leave all things, especially you.
Knowing, I will never see tomorrow.
I just hope I made you happiest,
In spite of all our ups and downs
You were always my inspiration.
Please don’t cry, your heart will always be my home.
My Love, I will miss you so very much.
And though I left early
I will carve a path for you
And await, await the day
When your time will finally come
And our tears will be diamonds.

Fades
Consider this as an experience when you are dead, and while awaiting your judgement, you think and ponder your last few moments.. its mostly a love poem.

Most definitely a love poem, and a very moving one at that, my eyes are glassy and I have had a rather good day so it tells me its a very very good poem. Tragic but them I think perhaps the best love stories and poems most often are. It seems almost a little Romeo and Juliet. Though I cant quite work out if the lady in the red dress is alive or not. It's not entirely clear if you left her or she left you perhaps in passing. It's not until the end when you say you will pave the way it becomes clear and then well its quite sad.. A very beautiful write.. I have missed your work. Always the romantic, and your good at it so why not =)
