One Master

Last year it was all about the end times, the four blood moons and destruction coming to America. This year we have seen more than enough natural disasters, total division egged on by the media, relentless rioting, sin being glorified at an all time high and yes, another prediction that the world is coming to an end. Unfortunately, what we haven't seen in great numbers are public displays of repentance, forgiveness and grace. Where is the cry for salvation? Where is Christ's love being displayed? Our lives were not created for fame and fortune. It's not about who has the nicest house, the fanciest cars. It's not even about memorizing the most scripture. Knowing God's word and living out His word are completely different. Saying I believe in God is not a free pass to sin. Matthew 7:21 Not everyone who calls out to me Lord! Lord! will enter the Kingdom of Heaven.Only those who actually Do the will of my Father in Heaven will enter! 

It's time we start building a solid foundation for ourselves, our families and even those we have yet to meet.The only way to achieve that is by living out God's word. One day at a time, one scripture at a time. We can only serve one Master and in these days we live in. There is so much deception in this world that we must be certain of which master we're choosing to serve. God is calling His people to a true place of repentance, with repentance comes true forgiveness and grace. It's time we start walking in the fruits of the spirit and display the Love of Christ for all to see. Weather you're preaching the Gospel, praying for the sick, offering salvation to the lost, helping those who are hurting, hugging those who are lonely and even displaying love to those who have slandered your name. We must choose the master we wish to serve. For me, I choose to serve God and God alone and I pray my display of Him shines brighter than my lack there of. God's not asking us for perfection, because we'll never achieve it. He's searching for a heart who is willing to serve one Master and a willingness to display the Master's love.
