The CatapultA Story by "Aleeza"For a couple years now, the Lord has been putting the word *Catapult*
in my spirit. A catapult is a ballistic device used to launch something. A
smaller hand held one is called a *slingshot*. It started with seeing specific numbers on an
overwhelmingly consistent basis. While researching the meaning of those triple
digits, I had found a prophetic word written some time ago. Now, understand
that as much as I love the prophetic, I don’t believe everything I see or hear,
nor do I chase after prophetic ministries. I am a firm believer that anyone of
God’s children can hear His voice if they ask, then stand still long enough to
hear it. It’s in that time of stillness and silence that He speaks to us most. With that said. This specific article caught my attention.
It was titled: The Year of the Catapult.
In this article, it talked about being catapulted into something. In this
instance, it was referring to a Commanded Victory. Using the scripture Psalm 44:4 You
are my King and my God, You command victories for Israel. It wasn’t too
long after reading and receiving that word, that my life began seeing one
attack after another. It sure didn’t feel like victory to me. As a matter of fact, it felt like the complete opposite. There
was a season that I felt like I was losing too many people that I loved. My
health was getting worse, my husband kept losing his jobs, my marriage was
about to end, one of my dearest friends had passed away and eventually I
started experiencing severe panic attacks. This sure didn’t feel like victory
in any sense of the word. I had a great group of people surrounding me that I tried
to shut out because the depression started to take over. Well, let me tell you,
that that didn’t last long. These strong, faithful and anointed women were not
about to back down, so the devil had too. That alone was a Commanded Victory,
and that is exactly why we must always surround ourselves with people who are
not afraid to stand in battle with you. People who are submersed in God’s word
and know how to speak to that mountain. So, recently I began hearing the word catapult again, this time I’m hearing the word thrusting as well. Thrusting is the force in which the catapult will launch. So, I have been seeking God something fierce as to why I’m hearing this in my spirit daily. Well, this past week I went on vacation with a friend to spend time with another friend. Little did I know that God had many things in store for me. I was surrounded by gorgeous mountains, a beautiful lake, and the glorious sound of the birds singing throughout the day. As much as I love the women I was blessed to spend time with, I was melting in the peace and the presence of God that surrounded me. There was an overflow of His presence all around us. I came home Tuesday with a renewed look on life. I was refreshed and filled with such peace. Ready to start this new chapter that God has designed for me. I knew God was about to do a New Thing in me. Not because of any other reason except I desire it. I hunger deeply for His presence all the time. There are days I feel like I can’t get enough. So, I was pumped for this new journey to begin. Then it happened. Yesterday, I began feeling that heaviness
in my spirit. At first I thought it was just a time to be quiet (rare for me) but
then last night I knew it was time to put on my armor. I knew the enemy was
trying to rob me of what God had already placed within me. So immediately after
recognizing this I filled my house with worship and I began to pray. Then I got
back up. The word say’s if two or more come together in My name it shall be
done. So, I sent out a couple messages, then I took my husband’s hand and we
began to pray. My husband is my covering and I needed covered. I woke up at 3 am
and I prayed again. I woke up at 5 am and I prayed again. I woke up at 7 am and I
felt like a whole new me. Victory was commanded and Victory was won! It is in that season that the Lord is about to thrust you
forward that the enemy is going to try to divert you into a different
direction. You must be covered at all times when living out the will of God. Ephesians 6 says to be strong in the
Lord and put on the full armor of God so that you stand against the devil’s
schemes. God will always lead you back to His word, where all your answers are
found. Always use wisdom and run to the Word of God. It is because of who He is
that we give Him the Glory. I encourage you today, to take your stand and claim
your Victory. The moment you begin to feel that heaviness, run to the word of
God and then pray. God has a plan for each and every one of us. Do not let the
lies of the enemy, the words of others, or your own insecurities hold you back.
I believe we are in a now season. Greater is He that in is you, then he that in
in the world. © 2017 "Aleeza" |
