Will You Rise Up And Know Your Worth?A Story by "Aleeza"God knew you before
you were ever born. You were not created to fail. He loved you so much that He
thought of you from the beginning of time. If your Heavenly Father loves you so
passionately, then maybe we should begin to love ourselves with that same
passion. Not an arrogance, but a confidence that we are made Beautiful in His
image. Psalm 139:13 Says: For
you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I
praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Why do we all at some
point in life challenge our worth? Because we are used
to the world (Satan) reminding us of who he thinks we are. It’s time we shut him
down and remind ourselves that we were chosen by the by God in His image for
His Glory. 1 Peter 2:9 You are a chosen race, a royal priesthood,
a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the
excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
God’s plan for us is not for failure, self-doubt, fear or rejection. It is His
plan is that we have hope, that we live a life of hope and prosperity. Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares
the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a
hope. My prayers, my hearts cry has been for God’s people to awaken from this
slumber we have found ourselves in and rise up. I believe in order to
rise up, we must know who God is in us and who we are in Him. That takes
relationship, and as you know one of the most important ingredients to a
healthy relationship is Communication. If you were in a relationship with
someone, whether it be marriage, friendship, sisterhood, father and daughter etc.,
and every single day that person told you how wonderful, how smart, how gifted,
how beautiful you were, you would then begin believing those things about
yourself and your image of yourself would look a lot different than it does
right now. Well there are at least thirty-three scriptures that I have found
that tells us who we are. I’m sure there are hundreds more. All through
scripture God is reminding us of His love for us and telling who we are in Him.
From being accepted by Him to our significance in Him, to securing our place
with Him. We all have an amazing opportunity to learn our worth and rise up to
remind others of theirs. We have all
experienced brokenness. But that doesn’t define who we are. There’s this song
by: Andra Day called I’ll Rise Up. It says: I'll rise up, I'll rise like
the day, I'll rise up, I'll rise unafraid, I'll rise up
