Maybe I won't get over how I love you, but know I let you thrive.
My mind doesn't wander far from the topic of your eyes.
The hazel shade of tree trunks are not to compare.
Can I sleep with you next to me on this Monday morning?
But my life is now living off of memories, wishing I was there.
Short, simple brown hair accompanies your lovely skin.
You treat me as you have never loved before and won't after.
We will not know any pain or what it's like to be alone again.
I have you and though it might be confusing, we share laughter.
When I wake up in the mornings, you're what's waking my mind.
