Let us all learn to forgive

What is man

just a forgiven soul

placed on this earth

simply to grow old

who gave us health

and food to eat

is it not He

the shephard

of All lost sheep

he gave us life

it is ours to live

he asked in return

that we simply forgive

man cannot live

by food alone

it is not enough

to sing praises in song

we believe in him

his name we’ve heard

in his power

we are certain of

without

a forgiving heart

we know not

the meaning of

true love

there may be times

when we feel weak

our spirit may be worn

let not

your heart be troubled

he will shelter you

through the fire

and in the midst

 of the storm

how many times then

you might say

shall I forgive

my brother?

forgive

until eternity
