Let Him See Reprise

Let Him See Reprise

A Poem by Alecia Noelle

Didn't he see?
The way I used to cry!
Didn't he see?
The way I used to hide when he came about?
Can't he see now?
That I was never on his side!
That everything was all a lie!
Let him see!
Let him see!
Yes!
Let him see!
What he never did before!
Let him see!
That I was never his!

 Let him see!
Let him see!
What he never did before!
Let him see!
Let him see!
That when it rains, it pours!

Tell him this!

Tell him,

I'll be no longer at his bedside!

Tell him!

That this is what I decide!

Tell him!

That I will not be denied!

Tell him!

I'm drinking cyanide!

Let him see!

My life now not belongs to him!
Let him see!
I'd rather off be dead than spend one day more with him!

Let him see!

Let him see!

That my hands are no longer tied!

And now I’m finally getting off the ride!

Let him see!

Let him see!

That I'll no longer hide!

That I will never be his bride!

Let him see!
Let him see!
How he'll shout!
How he'll yell!
When he comes in and sees
That my body belongs to him no more!
That he can't have me anymore!
