The Hitckhiker

The Hitckhiker

A Poem by Charlie Farnham
"

Lyrics. for sure.

"

The Hitchhiker

The writings on the walls

Blank canvas pictures fall.

Lets escape the midnight oil.

The crime of tomorrow

The Sum of today

Another life broken

Another betrayed.

so you live your life

as a travelling man,

just travelling here and there

The trees are bare and

The road is long

Its not time to look back

at where you've come from.

The crime of tomorrow

The Sum of today

Another life broken

Another betrayed.

So you live your life

as a travelling man,

just travelling here and there

But the sun is shining now,

and gravities a victim to the sky.

so you live your life

as a travelling man,

just travelling here and there
