Sea

Sea

A Poem by Silent Harp
"

Ode to Words and the Sea

"

 Sea

Hide me inside my letters
Deep in that illuminated ink
In the dazzle of
the high noon sun
Like the Wind, I am a tired wanderer
No one to show me the Way
But I

Hide me in the darkness of my soul
In the well of Joseph
Beyond the chains of wonder
I am a prisoner of Fire

Drowning in this river of bewilderment
Can the lantern of doubt
Conceal my secrets

And show me the way to myself

Oh Sea
I have no veil
But you
You, whose heart is incense
and stone that breathes
You hear the moaning of the world
In the smoke of waves
The wound of dew-drops
In the burning cinder of roots

You who stands mute

in front of the tempest

Oh King of vanity

Hide me, oh Sea
In my own letters

Let me live
in the Diaspora of words
