Alienated

Alienated

A Poem by Anonymous

Wandering alone in this empty land
Speaking a tongue you only understand
All their faces buried in the sand
Amidst the dust and dark alone you stand
Holding on and no one gives a hand
And your silence they always demand
And any hope has been always banned
Smiling in the eyes of souls so hostile
Strong amidst integrities so fragile
Fighting a conscience so volatile
In his society, he lived in exile
Hated that much, he was put on trial
Resisting was always noble and worthwile
And who said in defeat one cant smile?
