Mind and Idiocy In.A Talk

Mind and Idiocy In.A Talk

A Poem by Anonymous

One time, Mind wished to ask,
'Oh Idiocy what exactly is your task?
Idiocy had a simple reply
That did nothing to Mind but stupify,
My task is merely to tie,
Your hands and legs and try,
Hard enough to make u die
Seriously, on who else does Happiness rely??
But Mind did not comprehend
Why Idiocy insists to apprehend
Why idiocy insists to destroy,
His life, and steal away his joy
So Mind again asked in fright
Oh Idiocy, how did u gain all this might??
Idiocy laughed in vain,
And said with disdain:
Oh Mind, I made Man despise
His success and anyone wise
I made him ignore your cries
Because now, your existence all denies
I made Man fear your sight,
Love darkness and loathe light
And so he now lives in an endless night
Mind asked, dropping the first tear
Oh Idiocy, know what I fear?
That I d be forced to kneel
And be a slave at your heel
So that you can sense and feel
My humility, which will to ur majesty appeal
I hope this be anything but real
Idiocy, will you keep me alive??
Or shall I desperately strive?
To live with everyone's hate
Which you made my ultimate fate
Can Man save me before its late?
Or Am I condemned to live with no mate?
