O Wondrous LoveA Poem by Albert FreemanpoetryO Wondrous Love I am enchanted by your beauty from afar Such maidenly innocence leaves me dazzled and speechless
I gaze from afar and long to have your token Travelling the lands far and wide I seek fame, I seek fortune Not for self glory, but for the joy of winning your heart
I listen in envy as the bards sing of your beauty Knights across the land vy for just a sigh from you You have enchanted us all with your grace and wit
Listening from across the ball room I hear your laughter as you flirt with suitors from far and wide It fuels my determination, my need to be amongst them
Kneeling before your father, our king I am knighted before the powers of the land Dedicating my sword in the name of king and country I fight for you, I long for you
Just one kiss Just one touch to slake this thirst to slake this need
I shall win your love my heart will be sated With you in my arms all things are possible O wondrous love O love of my life © 2008 Albert FreemanAuthor's Note
