The Mints Are Mine!

The Mints Are Mine!

A Poem by Albert Freeman
"

The line has been drawn and the mints go to me.

"

The Mints Are Mine!

The mints are mine!

I claimed them so.

To be honest they've wanted me for some time.

You see we have a connection.

It's really mutual attraction.

They tend to melt in my hands.

That's proof alone I would think.

I do intend to be generous.

I'll accept your share as well.

No need to hide them, we're both adults.

They chose me and fair is fair.

I can only review this "piece" as follows:

I think you are skint
with your sharing of the mints
Your claim is null and void
as the Mints are in my hand
You don't intend to share
This is quite clear
I have no alternative
They will melt for me alone
and you I shall leave to groan....

heheee mess with the best, suffer like the rest :D

albert the concept is really humorous here, yea, i can reread over and over and laugh every time,
humorously romantic in its charmed way of showing what a mint is in light of a sweet touch,
and those who tend to crave suger when the timing is right, your awsome poem speaks metaphorically
as well, "They tend to melt in my hands." the note had me lol as well, lighthearted, creative,
well written as only a Poet could envision, i never takes sides but, i always give in, thanks for sharing
