A Casting Of Shadows

 

    Lord Captain-General Tomac Trajan halts his horse and removes his plain gauntlets. He motions for his service man, Cagil to approach his side, and carefully removes a helm adorned with the symbols of the Church. Seventeen years of preperation and he would not fail in his mission. The pagan beliefs of the ignorant would be set to flame if need be. With the help of men like Pyrel and Mineol he would bring light to the world...

 

    Lothar Tagin, Lord-General of Belar makes his way up the steps of the throne of Belar and hands a missive to Alisa Verdray, Queen of Belar, newly crowned not more than a month before. As she reads what was given she turns a palor shade than her already milk-white skin is normally. The missive shows Faridar has invoked it's ancient claim of owner ship of the Seven Isle's and with it the threat of war so soon after the civil strife of the months before...

 

    Danark Kelvor leads his Skulren into the town of Mastra in a showy triumphal march with armor polished and gleaming. In this town he would await the upcoming contract negotiations knowing that soon war would break out as had not been seen since the successionist wars. He cared not for which side picked him so long as he was able to eventually finish off Relek's Raiders for good...
