I miss you

I miss you

I miss you when you're not around

I miss your smile

I miss your voice

Whenever you come around I tend to smile and never frown

Even though we're oceans apart

you're in my thoughts and in my heart

Whenever I'm lonely I think of you

never any nightmares

I miss you now, I miss you so

I can't wait to touch your hand again

to look into your eyes and touch your lips

Another chance to hold you close

to talk through the night

to read in comfort

I miss you when you're not around

the way your eyes shine when you lean towards me

the softness of your lips

the shiver your touch brings

I miss you now

I miss you then

I'll always miss you when you're not around

I miss you

I miss you

The structure of this poem and the feeling really touches home, my love is 2000 miles away from me. Thanks so much for sharing this it is going on my favorites list. Also the rhythm of this poem helps to convey the longing and love in your heart. You did an awesome job....
