P R O L O G U E The Chaos Unleashed
Grevor worked his way carefully across the battlefield. To his satisfaction it was littered with just enough bodies. He smirked. They no longer had enough time to burn the bodies to keep them from his touch. Walking carefully he held his white cloak fastidiously above the mud soaked, blood soaked ground with a delicately gloved hand.
A stiff breeze was starting to make its way from the east with a hint of winter upon it. He felt his mouth quirk ed with annoyance at the thought of winter approaching. He hated winters. All of that ridiculous cold was an affront to the finer senses. Perhaps the Great Lord would do away with such weather when the world bent the knee to Him.
As he went along, he randomly gestured at certain bodies and men in slave collars would scurry over to transport the bodies away to his temporary laboratories. His work was never done and he so enjoyed creating the creatures he imagined from his superior mind.
In the distance he could observe a number of his death hounds roaming the field, killing all of the injured, as they howled for their master. He could always use extra bodies, and if they got wounded then surely they had no place in this new purer world. To the west he could see the power still in use. Great arches of it going back and forth, causing the very ground to rumble. It amused him that the fools still fought on. The Great Lord had his foot firmly on their necks and they still tried to deny His very will. Poor fools.
