On Thoughts of You

 

On thoughts of you

I can not help but smile

It's Valentine's day and I want you near

In my heart you will always be

such magical thoughts they are

 

It's Valentine's day and I ache to see your smile

the sparkle in your eyes, the sensual

look you give me

Double flips you give my hearts

it's yours to command, you hold the key

 

On thoughts of you

my mind will dwell

I picture you own a beach with me

exchanging our thoughts, exchanging our hearts

we beat in time, we beat together

 

On this day of days, our special day

my thoughts will always be with you

whether near or far away, it's mirror in time

It's Valentine's day will you be mine?

i loved the 'feel' of this - the tone. it was unique, even for a typical valentines day poem... something about it had a different tone to it, that made me like it more than others of this nature.
