Red MotorcycleA Poem by CœurYou left On a red motorcycle. It wasn’t yours And it wasn’t ours. The owner would remain A mystery to me. I secretly blamed The motorcycle As a kid. If it had never existed, You would still be here, Right? You hated the color red, But you loved the color red. Your hair was red, My hair was red, We understood each other. I secretly blamed everyone As a child. If there was no one else Would you still be here? If it were just You and me Nobody else Would you have stayed? You were a bad influence The worst role model. You smoked too much Cursed too much Drank too much But I never minded You were my bad influence You were my bad role model You were mine. I secretly blamed myself As a child. If I had never existed Would you still be here?© 2018 CœurReviews
