Words that bleed from the heart

Words that bleed from the heart

A Poem by Alan Mark Maynes

The blood is still blue
Even when it has reached oxygen
The words couldn't get through
And the heart I couldn't win
How could I have won
With my crucial evil deeds
Back to the sorrow hands
That the evil man couldn't lead
Happiness would not be achieved
By a womans breaking tears
Unhappiness is all she seen
Throughout the breaking years
A cold dark earth
Thrived within her life
The thoughts of a better place
As she was staring at a knife
The uncomfortable thoughts of death
She could not succeed
She wanted the love
But the love she could not meet
Streaming mascara
Stained her sour face
The reflection of herself
And thinking the time of space
There was no hope
For their love to rejoice
Walking a new path
Was now her only choice
Sleeping with the enemy
And all the sickened lies
Searching for joy
But she was still the woman with tears bleeding from her eyes
