The changing skies

The changing skies

A Poem by Alan Mark Maynes

Morning bird with the morning bloom
And circle of life waiting to consume
Grass is green and so are leaves
Rumbling machines that buzz like bees
Earth has changed and the sun will too
Like the skies on the range and so will you
Mother nature will take her task
Seasons change and will change her mask
Leaves have fallen and all is dead
No blue skies and bears to bed
All is quiet, like the night
All is cold, all is white
