Falling piecesA Poem by AlaniA man standing before me, that has broken other heartsFalling pieces Of a broken heart It’s not mine, no I picked it up along the way. I guess it was A warning sign Of what you are Capable of Falling pieces of some ones life Torn apart By desire I see you amuse yourself Caught in a moment You clearly have no idea Of the consequence Falling pieces Of a broken heart It’s not mine, no I see her cry: My future tears Are in disguise By your candy-coated lies I see you are ignorant You take what you’re wanting You’ll suffer the aftermath To taste sweet pleasure © 2014 AlaniReviews
