Broken FlowerA Poem by AlaniMe
I saw a trail of blemished petals
as I walked along a cobbled path it lead me to remainders of what seemed to be a broken flower I carried her to the river she was weeping the tears fell I didn't know what came over her until I heard her pain It's a mythical experience every time I see you it gets worse You don't suppose you could wane? That could mend my fairy-tale. I heard a silent whimpering in the eyes of a tiny being She was not dead nor living though it seemed to me she could feel pain: Her broken wings lay around her I picked them up they were emendable I didn't know how to help her It was in your script: It's a mythical experience every time I see you it gets worse You don't suppose you could wane? That could mend my fairy-tale. © 2014 AlaniReviews
