To love another, is to love self

Love me with your words

They colour in my pictures

Created in my head

Moonbeams and fable creatures

 

Love me with your eyes

They pierce the walls of permanence

Created by my fear

Death and silent resonance

 

Love me with your laughter

It breaks down surrounding walls

Created by dismay

Expectations and pedestal falls

 

Love me with your hands

They trace the scars and wounds

Of every time I despised myself

Different from well groomed

 

Love me with your being

It amplifies my consciousness

Because I in me is me in you

The epitome of self awareness
