Stone Cold Energy

Stone Cold Energy

A Poem by Alani
"

dealing with the pain of losing someone close

"

The darkness came... now silence is here

Empty silence and nothingness

Nothing but you and silence

I feel you near me... not your breath but your energy

Your need to touch me... not your hands but your energy

Your stare on my skin... not your eyes but your energy

Your stone cold energy

Can we turn back time to those vain ideals of mine?

Deceptive desires, fateful end was dire

Now I’m alone with my fantasy

Black coloured stone, is just energy

I feel you near me... not your breath but your energy

Your need to touch me... not your hands but your energy

Your stare on my skin... not your eyes but your energy

Your stone cold energy

If I could scale the walls of this galaxy, to find where you are buried from me

Now this one breathes on its own. I loved how this felt as I read it. The missing, the hurt and the need are evident in your words today Alani. To scale the walls of this galaxy...so very good. Hoping to just feel that energy, which has all but dissipated. Loved this one.
