Words

Words

A Poem by Emma-Joan

Before humans could speak
we had one special thing
respect. No one was a freak

Now we have words
We invent names
Like nerds

we throw words as weapons
Trying to hurt and kill
Like its fricking armageddon

Words can hurt
Words can kill
They can shove you in the dirt

Words caused Wars
Words caused fights
till the whole world swore

people made new words
words i shall not say
but we need to stop the world

Will you help?

The main line of the poem I adored is, "Words can shove you in the dirt". Pretty interesting to read. I love how you put some deep thoughts in your work. Keep on!
