Ocean

Ocean

A Poem by Emma-Joan

Oh the ocean isn't it exciting!
Watching the waves crash
Sitting, listening
As the waves curl and splash

The whisper of the wind
As it whirls through the trees
Watching the trees bend
In a wonderful breeze

The ocean is a wonderful place
Teeming with life
Fish yet innocent of a humans face
The oh so colourful wildlife

Yet what do humans do
When they see this grace?
They conceal it from view
And makes plans to deface.

Beautiful the ocean it does what it does, it's own
Rythum it's own dance, sometimes smooth and
Sometimes fast, it's own music, chilly sometimes
Warm when the sun rises high I the sky,
It knows I'm watching, I think he's performing
For me!
