A Poem by alan khan

that creature
that rabid beast known as
guilter

i am well acquainted with.

but now i've found his existence lost,
even from my memory .

that women
that sensually evil and blood thirsty woman
who possess no title

was once my lover,
if you could call her enslaving my being
love.

but now i come and go from her lair at my own calling.

those twins.
those hideous twins each resembling a serpent..
called feegor and doubtus

were once inches behind every step i took.

but now i wear them as bracelets when i venture into town.

the demons and monsters of this land.
are now my personal play things

void of..

This was almost reminicient of Lewis Carroll's dark yet fascinating pieces. Very well written, it painted an evil smile on my face.

This was quite lovely, it has been a while since i've read your work, and its rather refreshing.
The way you related past to future, and the sense of a metaphorically speaking narrator was perfectly executed. However i found it difficult to find any rhythm or flow in this piece. While concentrating on the subject matter is wonderful, it does not make up for the lack of flow. The better the flow, the better conveyed the subject.

Just think about rearranging some of the spacing and punctuation between lines.

hmmm. This is really intersting. I like how you leave it so the reader has to ponder a bit about the underlying meaning. It's an awesome piece. keep it up
