naive and sentimental

naive and sentimental

A Poem by alan khan
"

that age old cliche. mucho gracias Friedrich Schiller.

"
ARTISTS more than any other species of man.
can be thrown in categories.

yes god forbid a creature of night say such a thing
but truth be told yee who wrapped in the aesthetics

are walking breathing cliches.

and to borrow from the german philosopher (bum) schiller.

the two most distinguishable contrasts are

naivety

and sentiment.

naive being unaware of the beauty they create. a mozart, an alan khan.

and the sentiment are weighed down by the world
by pre determines
and fore thought.

slave to art.

art..

a goddamn excuse.

it is.. but then, it's so difficult not to push the output when we showed ourselves the way of creation

i think it means, basically, that we're all just fucked. doomed to cliche-hood.. even our outward cries of difference follow set patterns of cries someone else shouted somewhen before us.
*sigh* yep. we's fucked.

ethics and aesthetics~
obviously you've read his discourses~ your poem also reminds me of Wieland's Schone Seele~the beautiful soul~
"concept of the Schone Seele: (beautiful soul), a human being whose emotions have been educated by reason"
most clever and a rich drop of philosophical honey for the wandering mind~
