a cloak.

a cloak.

A Poem by alan khan

it's night time sweetie
it's time to wake from our rest
tonight i will continue
to tempt along with test.

you think i really love you baby
and then perhaps maybe i do
but don't think you're in control
i've got a monster hold on you.

you can't deny it sweetie
you're completely taken by me
we're both slave to one another
except not really i am free.

i am a monster
and you love me still
because of my act dear
you're unaware of my will.

modesty and caring is my guise.

cloaking over my blissful sin.

i blind you from the simple truth.

only i can ever win.

don't mistake my being kind. i am not yours, rather you are mine.

Oooo this is deep. And I like the rhyming pattern, it helps with your movement. Your stanzas and uncapitalized words help with how broken and monsterous your speaker seems to be. Good job.
