Chapter 9A Chapter by alan khan
Bear's village seems to be in as much ruin as the shacks outside Gimora Gates. Dozens of huts, that some would mistake as piles of sticks, all spaced around a muddy thick road that runs straight through the small village. Further down the beaten road a large fire brew black smoke high, to signal wanderers. "See the great tribes of the glorious Crimson City Khan?" Khan tries to smirk, but the sight of the children, crouched in there doorways that empty black glaze over there eyes, made Khan sick. Though preview to sight such as this for all of his life, Khan never allowed himself to not be moved the way he was. "Come Khan, i want you to meet my sister. She's asked about you."
Walking into Bear's hut, Khan quickly found himself breathing deeply, and removing the ragged shirt from over his body. The heat choking him, and quickly soaking his back with sweat. As his shirt slid off his head, his hair now moving away from his eyes. He saw her. She walked out from the back room, wiping her hands with a cloth. She placed it down on the table over by the makeshift window. She stood there for a while, lingering on the warm rays of sunlight stretched out over her hand. Khan now finding the ability to breathe impossible, as she steps over closer to them. Her feet stepping one in front the other, letting her hips roll as she walks. Each step closer, her beauty becomes more and more apparent. Her gentle eyes guarded by a firm focus piercing his stare, as he looked at the soft sensual lips move. A deep but gentle, warm voice, "And this is...?" "Oh sorry, Khan this is my sister, Julia." Julia watches him, her gentle frame unafraid of the world around her. "So this is the brave warrior who saved my little brother from the big bad army." She crosses her arms as she sizes him up, unaffected by the muscular sweaty body a few feet in front of her. "Not particularly talkative is he brave." "Well none of my friends are too bright." Bear smacks Khan's back, shaking him out of his daze. Catching back his wits, "Uhh yes, well i was just there-" "It was foolish.." She interrupts him as she turns to walk back to the rag rested on the table. "Pardon?" She turns sharply to face him, "What you did. What Bear did...was stupid. Such chest beating i have no patience for." Bear jumps forward, "You hang on just-" "Hang on Bear," Khan steps forward and places a hand on his shoulder, "So what would you have people do.." Surprised at his talking back, "Excuse me but-" "No excuse me, Bear did what was needed for you, i did what was needed for him. I do my best to avoid trouble at all times, but not at he cost of another man." "It brings unnecessary attention." Bear looks quickly at her and back to Khan. Khan watches them, puzzled, "Attention to what?" A swift breeze chills the back of Khan's neck. The tent sheet is pushed aside as someone enters. Khan turns to see a man, covered in a cape made from grizzly fur. His hair washed and put back cleanly into a tail. His teeth in perfect pearly rows. "And who do we have here." His voice a quiet whimper. © 2010 alan khan |
