anne hex. am i.

anne hex. am i.

A Poem by alan khan

and so i turn my back to this world.

and clothe myself in ancient villainy.
that vale bathed in sin
that i so long now have hung up.

shall drape over my spiked shoulders once again.

never again fine velvet to touch these scales.

for the scorn and burn of love has hardened my eyes and fangs more now than inception.

venturing to the black day, and cold nights.

i will wield my magic, and forever more find victims to prey on.

i need no warm embrace of friendly flame
nor the fire of lover's desire.

for all these things, now as much in the past as the legs of happiness.

i am anne hex.

and choking tears no longer find there way to my throat.

only screams of rage.
