oh my

oh my

A Poem by alan khan

oh my.
the river runs red
filled with all the stench and steins
of the long forgotten dead

and

oh my.
i hear the children whine
they beg for bread and shelter
and for a break from jagged time

and

ohhh my.
the strong be damned to hell
and while we're at it
damn the enemies as well.

and

ohh my.
no room for the just and right.
in this land we only let live
those who thirst for fight.

and

ohh my!
what have i become
i shower in the blood of others
to time and flames now i am numb.

and

oh my.
now i am left, just the one
a war has just ended
But I'm sure another, has already begun

It's been quite awhile since I've had the pleasure of reading your work.
This was beautiful, the rhyme scheme was steady and allowed me to focus on the message instead of how the words fit together, and the repetition (unlike many others) did not become dull, or over-bearing to the point of annoyance.

I would, however suggest going back for some minor editing, be sure to capitalize the first word of each line, and the last line though very powerful, feels the slightest bit awkward.
perhaps try
"But I'm sure another, already has begun"
-or-
"But I'm sure another, has already begun"
