A Poem by alan khan

i threw it all

the sanity and love and comfort

and i clothed my self in naked.

tore away the bolts and nuts

and let the engine run free.

tore away tire

and let the metal scar the road.

gave my fists a voice

my voice a rest

my rest a thing now of a past.

and wheter drunken madness

or foolish brawls

...

or tender nights.

i remained free.

so goodbye to pain

goodbye to sorrow

i'm finally free

and no longer afraid of tommrow.

This poem was filled with such metaphors, I loved it. The whole idea of being set free is exciting. You are very talented! Just watch some of your spelling errors but over all- it is amazing!

"so goodbye to pain
goodbye to sorrow
i'm finally free
and no longer afraid of tomorrow"
These words are a dream I wish to come true for me.
Great poem.
