i hate poetry

i hate poetry

A Poem by alan khan

the short bursts

of whining and meaning and metaphors and love and hate and messages and bullfuckingshit.

so many lines aloud. so many walls and locked doors.

that are meant to open with the act.

its nonsense.

i'm a crime writer.

who's been through what i write about.

the terrible.

the true.

the filthy.

the nothing new.

i write with abandon and disregard.

you cant do that so they say.

with poet-tray..

rhyme.

i just hate it.

i'm sorry.

i know that when my hand grabs the pen

or fingers wrestle with the keys.

that waste is fufilled.

and i have no right ot talk.

but..

ohh nevermind.

Read this and .. laughed at the words ..

read this, read the words ..

read the words, they're prose-poetry .. and you're a powerful writer.
