broken men are we

broken men are we

A Poem by alan khan
"

writeen after a motorcycle ride.

"
aye me and my comrads.
we face the unwanted tieranny of all that is old and sacred.

We face the freedoms we so joyfully once endured.
The wind in her eyes
and the tears at our backs.

The roar of a beast beneath ourselves

and the harsh pavement at our feet.

Now i see, these things are not what we lack.
But what need gained.

gone are the days where they can be.

now i do not blame
the building
or the man
or the people

only me.
