A Poem by alan khan

i’ve seen death and her sister oblivion,
their secrets and power rest behind my eyes.

i’ve lain with luna in her midnight sky,
the lingering chill of her majesty tingles over the surface of my lips.

i've waded through pools of blood from beasts slain,
cloaking my toes in silence and grace.

i’ve walked through the mists of dimensions unknown,
the rhythm and mystique hovers around me still.

Great use of words and thoughts. Death and oblivion are interesting words and places. I like the flow of the poem leading the reader with questions to ponder. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
