A Poem by alan khan
"

Simple

"
Give me a melody without any of the words,
Clip not the flowers so they live long and whole.
No sense in possessing beauty to watch it wither away,
No sense in confusing ideas and thoughts for a soul.

Confuse not inner peace
For the trappings of ideals
Simply stretch your legs in front of you
And let silence affirm what is real.

It is a amazing poem. I like the simple and needed desire in the poem. I like when the flower is left alone to live and die in nature. I like the ending. Good to relax and find some kind of peace. A poem with good wisdom and positive thoughts. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
