Pride of the Humble

The poem talks about the paradox between pride and humility in humans in the society we live in and how one may struggle with pride at some stage in life as well as humility, enjoy!!!

PRIDE OF THE HUMBLE

What shall the humble say?
Pride comes before a fall
Silence speaks in the audience
Noise in the crowd as it stands

Wisdom is a stranger,
In the house of a fool
Large as an eagle
Small like a needle

Proud in humility,
Humble in pride
365 days for the strong
7 days of the weak

Life said to me
Cognition tells who you are
Death said to me
Condition hides what you are
