Breaking Free

Breaking Free

A Chapter by Alaska Rose
"

A few months after the two previous poems, I wrote this to convey the sense of hope that things would be better. This is the last of the three poems.

"
I'm letting go.
This awful trap
has no place in my life.

It will always be there
waiting, watching
for the moment to strike.

But soon as it flares,
a counter-attack!

At the head, my planner
A folder, A notebook
Six teachers, Two counselors
And a 504

ADD no longer bothers me
'Cause I'm breaking free.

A outstanding end to the story. I like the positive ending. Life is fair. Hard work and great dreams will lead you to good places. A excellent story. Thank you.

About
Hi! I'm Alaska Rose, but am more commonly referred to as "Ala". It's not my real name, but I've answered to Ala so often online that I probably would do so in real life. Anyway, a little about me: .. more..
