Feminist WorldA Poem by Akshay
I have these ideas, I have these answers to your questions
All the tigress's want so much, they want it all All alone in the night, these are my inhibitions They want to be equal, but they won't ever make the first call Wouldn't it be wonderful to live when only I could vote only I had the power and only I could sit on the throne When I could ban her from seeing other people she's an animal, and I'm the zoo keeper She'll sit in the house, make food, look after the children, dress them so I can go out with them and leave her behind
But, when I come home at night, I want her to touch me soft, dance on my fingers, be in my palm, I'll try to be kind Feminist world the only difference between then and now is that they're afraid to say the things they acted on back then Feminist world the only difference is that women always bore the weight of the world, they just never cried about it like you and your friend Ken These are true thoughts in my mind Well, isn't the peahen a funny thing the peacock chooses one as they are lined I can hear them, they always cringe they sound like dragging teeth on a board Wouldn't it be wonderful to live when only I was allowed to grow old she's supposed to be beautiful and look like rainbows When I could ask her for money, for she married me I'm just that good, aren't I? She'll leave her old life behind, make me feel at home, make me everything I wanted, when I was done, I'd leave her behind She'll leave everything behind for me, her friends, her parents, her life for I'm an Alexander, aren't I? Feminist world Feminist world. These are ideals that they had it never was like this, but they believed in it These are their morals, but don't say anything about their mother they'll get mad, she's a God, not a girl Doesn't really feel natural, but that's how it is Isn't it wonderful to be the one she can be herself around where she can cry and you comfort her through the dawn What a life they all were missing, coming home to a smile and kisses It's all so wonderful to have someone finally understand me, she sits in front, her eyes make everything seem so familiar and easy Feminist world, it was never like this Feminist world, they are roses without thorns Feminist world, dig in your heel, "would you like a house that has a front lawn?" © 2014 AkshayAuthor's Note
