I'm A Kennedy

I'm A Kennedy

A Poem by Akshay

You don't always get what you want
Unless it's what you deserved
I want to share my well
but, I've been attacked by the US of A
You don't always dream what you want
Unless you dream of the bloody curb
I really wish you well
but, you're drowned in your dissatisfied way

They told me
honesty is the best policy
it just isn't insured
They said
the apple doesn't fall far from the tree
grow underground, so the eagles can't see

You don't always kill what you want
Unless what you truly wanted was the whole civilization
Old jokes work so hard
but, I feel like I've been bumping into walls
You don't always hear what you want
Unless you actually wanted me insane
I tried so hard
but, you've got a plaster of security guards

They told me
honesty is the best policy
it just isn't insured
They said
don't worry, you're not a Kennedy
you're just a plane crash in open space
