AcceptanceA Poem by Akshay
Under the sky, along the rainbow,
lies our city, city of show The bigger you are, the better you look you can get syringes poked to acquire a glow Waiting in wraps, looking for snow, waiting for the man who gives you your blow It's morning I'm awake but the sun's still yawning I see couples forming Why is it the guy who's always fawning Under my eyes, around them too, measure the lines, compare it with you The smarter you are, the dumber you get get piercings to make things like when you met Waiting in wraps, sweating some glue hate the television channel you set It's night I'm sleepy, but the circles around my eyes need maintenance We can always fight till I surrender in acceptance © 2014 AkshayAuthor's Note
