A Midnight View

A Midnight View

A Poem by Akshay

Oh, the view from my balcony
They're in groups with a mentality of a cancerous colony
People walk their dogs, treat it with luxury
With nothing on their minds, just adultery

Oh, the view from my eyes
It all seems unnatural, dogs chasing mice
People with their halves, walking with fingers interlocked
Nothing on their minds, only lime lights to hog

Oh, the view from my point
Greed resides, families aren't really joint
People with diabetes treated with sweetness, they will never be on time
Hide me in your eyes,
Don't open your mind,
It's too cold outside
