Cassius

Cassius

A Poem by Akshay
"

"Aweary of the world, hated by the ones I love"

"
With the thirst of a thousand scavengers
Sit and write whilst waiting for the messenger.
I can't convince you of what's inside of me
Spilling blood on paper is one life-long therapy.

"Aweary of the world, hated by the ones I love"

With the depth not measurable in terms of fathoms
I try to rise from the ever hungry datum.
You can't conceive how this lingers inside
Every strand of my existence has now begun to strive.

"Aweary of the world, hated by the ones I love"

With the wings made of dreams I fly
Will the wax last long for this candle to burn bright?
You won't understand the eeriness of living inside this mind
Every vice will now show its face in a fashion un-timed.

"Aweary of the world, hated by the ones I love"
